Hopkins School Board to host comprehensive training session on June 15

Are you interested in making Vision 2031 a reality for all Hopkins scholars? Do you want to serve your community and your school district? Becoming a school board member puts you at the center of our district and allows you to move forward an innovative vision that ensures every student is empowered to make the world a better place. This is an exciting time for Hopkins Public Schools — and we need your vision, leadership and energy!

But I don't know the first thing about being a school board member!
No problem! The Hopkins School Board will be offering a comprehensive training session for those interested in learning more. The Hopkins School Board and Superintendent Dr. Rhoda Mhiripiri-Reed will present the roles and duties required of the position. You are encouraged to attend this training to see if becoming a board member is right for you.

The Hopkins School Board will be offering a comprehensive training session for those interested in learning about becoming a school board member on June 15, 2021 from 6 to 7 p.m. The session will be offered in a hybrid format, meaning participants can either join in person or virtually.

School Board training session:

Tuesday, June 15, 6-7 p.m.
Eisenhower Community Center, Room 233
1001 Highway 7, Hopkins

You can also join virtually through a link that will be posted on the School Board webpage.
